ECCET
Processing and visualization of volume datasets
ECCET is an image processing framework that was developed as a PhD thesis at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.The intellectual property rights were transferred to Dr. Andreas Beck, who licenses the product for research purposes as well as the a certified medical product (ColoTux).

- Segmentation and visualization of vessel systems and organs
(e.g. HepaTux)
- virtual endoscopy
- morphometry, estimating the size of lesions
- planning of liver surgery
- visualization of functional 3D and 4D datasets
- neurological research
- visualization of thrombogenesis

- No specialized hardware necessary. Just a PC.

ECCET was developed for scientific purposes. It does not carry a CE sign nor is it certified as a medical produkt. Therefore it may not be used for diagnostic purposes.
The sub-application ColoTux can be purchased in a medical product certified version.
