Step 2 - Burning the Installation-CD
Using the ISO-Image
Common CD-burning applications can directly burn those to CD.
ATTENTION: Do not write a CD, that contains
the file "CompleteCD.iso".
You have to use the "Burn ISO-File" function of your CD burning software.
Using the ZIP-File
In case your CD-burning application does not support ISO-Images, please download the ZIP-Version, unpack it and burn the content of the directory "cdmaster" contained in the ZIP.
Step 3 - Registering the Installation-CD
As usual when installing software on Unix machines, you
have to be administrator to do the following steps. If necessary, start up a
console and use the command su and the admin password to become
the "root" user. |
Insert the CD into the CDROM drive of the target computer and enter the following commands on the command line:
apt-cdrom add
