Eccet Licensing

Eccet can be licensed on different terms depending on its use.

Scientific usage

Eccet can be used for scientific purposes free of charge.

If you employ Eccet for scientific purposes we provide Eccet to you at no cost. All you need to do is register with us. You will receive a registration code that is valid for 1 year can can be renewed every year.

For checking validity of requests for scientific licenses we reserve the right to check if there are no commercial interests involved in the project and if relevant scientific work is being done. You are therefore kindly requested to supply a short summary of your scientific project together with the license request.

Issuing scientific licenses is in our sole discretion.

Medical usage

The complete Eccet system is currently not certified for medical use as required by the Medizinproduktegesetz or the corresponding EU regulations.

The subsystem Colotux is now a medical product.

The licensing regulations are detailed on the Colotux website.

For institutions using Eccet in both medical and scientific context we provide special discounts. Please ask for a personal quotation.

Commercial use

For using Eccet commercially outside the medical scope (like for inspection of material, visualization of measurement data, etc.) a commercial license is required.

Licensing cost for the full Eccet-Package for one machine per year (excl. VAT and other applicable taxes)

Please ask us about conditions for multiuser or site licenses. We offer very attractive conditions for larger installations.

In case you only use small parts of the Eccet functionality you can as well request part licenses that only cover specific personalities or command sets. For example:
